"ARE PEOPLE LEAVING?!"
Sloot Journal1904 hrs.
Mary Elizabeth aka Lizzie (LizDub.blogspot.com): Are people leaving?
Me: Yes, because they're done.
Today was one of the most enjoyable days ever.
I woke up at eleven - which is always wonderful - and then I went and got ready. I heard a bunch of people in the kitchen so I went there. I had some cereal (Frosties!). Tagz and Alecia came in - Alecia was going to be leaving, so she said good bye. the next thing I knew, Tagz, Amy, Ed, and Ruby were in the kitchen, too. Amy made garlic bread and Tagz made rice. We had a feast of rice and garlic bread (HAHAHAHA), and took pictures of food that had gone back - look for that photo album - coming to Facebook soon.
Tagz, Amy, and I went to get some stuff at Iceland. We brought our groceries home and went looking for a router in Curry's - for when we get wireless internet tomorrow. Curry's didn't have what we needed - so Amy and I branched off from Tagz (who needed to go to Sainsbury) to go to PC World to get the router. Well, we went to Asda first and each got a new purse (I got a black and white should bag for class!). We went to PC world and got a G+ MIMO Router for 54 quid - 20 quid less than usual. SWEET!
We came home and met up with Tagz - who left Sainsbury the same time as us. As we were walking back to Goldsmiths, Mary got off the bus - amazing - and we all had a reunion in the middle of the street . . . by the toilet on the corner . . . yeah . . . Good times.
We went to the flat, dropped stuff off, and then Mary, Tagz, and I came to the library to check our mail, MySpace, Facebook, and to post on BlogSpot (Mary has a blog, too! Check it out! She updates hers more than I do).
I'm really starting to appreciate this city a lot more and it's gonna be hard to leave it. :(
Here's a funny story - although it might just be funny to us given the people and circumstances: Ed thought he could be macho and amazing and step on a coke bottle to crush it - but what Ed didn't expect was to slip on the bottle, roll backwards, and hit his elbox on a chair. Ruby ran out to get John becase she thought Ed was really hit - oh no. He had just hit is funny bone... well, it was hilarious at the time!
Ed told me he was going to come to NJ one day so he could be a hot Jersey boy on the beach. Everyone, mark your calendars when he comes.
I really feel like I'm not doing any work - which is bothering me. We hardly have any work as it is, so I'm just not motivated at all yet. It still seems like we haven't gotten into the swing of things since we've only had two or three classes - crazy, huh?
Well, we're getting the internet in our rooms tomorrow. Watch out. I'll be on the inetnert 24/7 again! YAY!
So, the girls have been watching Sex In the City lately. Usually it's just Tagz, Mary, Amy, and me - the MATA girls as we call ourselves (Mary, Amy, Tagz, Amy). I've decided that we could all also pull off the Sex in the City gang. Legit. We always have girls talk on Sun. and we are always there for each other. I'm gonna miss that.
We watched an episode called COVER GIRL last night which dealt with negativity and optomism as a single girl. It was so interesting, for me, to watch, considering I'm still single. Hahaha. I'm really glad we've been watching this show together, and I look forward to our Sex in the City parties every night! And I definitely think that I'm most like Charlotte, because, no matter what, she always finds good in other people and looks for that special someone. Good times
Well, I'm gonna get going. It's 7 PM and I'm kinda hungry. I'm gonna see how Mary's doing and then see if she wants to go back for dinner!
