If you could shag one celebrity, who would it be and how far would you go?

“Who the fuck is Will? Who the fuck is Joel?!” – Ed talking to Mary and me as we walk to Sainsburys

Me: “I want to bed pretty late last night. I might take a nap…”
Mary: “Yeah. 4 AM!”
Me: How did you know?!
Mary: “I read your blog!”

So, Mary has a friend who I met and became friends with. We found out that she randomly bumped into Vince Vaughn and proceeded to spend a bar-hopping night with him followed by a casual invitation to his hotel suite. Stuff happened in between those satin sheets and next to the window overlooking the beautiful Budapest city (“everything but sex” – as Ed would say).
So, the topic of last evening was “If you met a famous star, would you shag him? How far would you go and who would it be?”
Mary’s answer was Christian Bale, but she wouldn’t go all the way with him.
I had some tough decisions. There’s Ewan McGregor. There’s Colin Firth. But then, there’s Hugh Jackman. Let’s be real for a second – Hugh Jackman is a theatre man – yet he’s straight (shut up, he’s straight). He is wonderful and is a delightful person to meet (yes, I met him two times, thank you very much). He can SING, he can DANCE, he has a sexy accent, and guess what? HE PLAYED WOLVERINE IN X-MEN. Yeah. Enough said – although, if I had been asked this twenty years ago, it would have been HARRISON FORD ALL THE WAY!
Ruby also voted Colin Firth. A+ Mr.Darcy.

So, six of us are going to see Avenue Q tonight. I am so excited. It’s going to be amazing.

I'm gonna get going. I'm gonna take a nap!

Remember when D7 threw an egg at us as we wished Welshie a Happy Birthday? I have photo evidence!

So it’s starting to hit me how little time I have left here. Yeah. It’s really starting to get me worried – especially when Jade sends me MySpace messages how I can’t leave in three weeks or when we have all these talks about a going away party. My flatmates are determined to get Mary and me so pissed the night before that we are both completely hung over when we reach the states.
P.S. Can I just throw out the fact that I really appreciate the mornings when Ed walks in the kitchen wearing just a t-shirt and blue and white polka-dotted boxers? But what is really freaking me out is the fact that he is drinking Squash out of a dirty, used cup from last night…I miss his Uggs.
SO the last three nights have been classic. On Saturday night Curtis took me to see Billy Elliot – which instantly became my new favorite musical. If you’re a dancer, you’ll understand why. Then, Curtis went back to the states so I gave him a pink, iridescent gift bag filled with stuff for Jess and all the crazy people at Civic. Well, because the gift bag was so big, Curtis needed to check his other bag…I feel so bad.
On Sunday, our flat pretty much did NOTHING. Legit. I DID go to the library to get my research for my Race and Representation report. Yeah for a paper on transgression in the Star Wars trilogies…!!!! Joel Frank, you better be proud. Then, John got home on Sunday night and just listened to my stories of the two guys I like and how I could never have the guts to tell either one of them. John, I love you and will miss all our late night conversations – and stalking people on MySpace – and threatening to kill people who are mean to people in our flat. I love E6. And I love the fact that John NEVER logs off MySpace!
And finally, last night. It was Sara’s (Welshie’s) birthday. The day was spent reading articles (aka “reading articles”) and shopping for meatless food. Thanks Ruby and Tagz. I’ve unofficially become a veggie. I got hair dye (calm down, it was just for highlighting), and we went to D Block for the party. We had a great time playing ring of fire and singing. We took some classic pictures – including a picture of me kissing a can of Strongbow. Look for that – coming to a Facebook near you. Mary and I stayed until 10 and then came back to the flat to record something (Man, what an experience). Then, Mary highlighted my hair – but what we discovered is my hair is too dark, so they didn’t show up as much as we thought they would.
I spent the rest of the night trying to write my speech for E-Board elections for the MTA. Matt Franzetti looked over it for me, and I spoke to Amanda Johnson for a long time last night. Thanks for all your help Amanda!
And then I went to bed – at around 4 AM. Why? Because I was also talking to Trish online. Why were we up so late? I have no clue.
We’re trying to see Q tonight. That would be so much fun – as long as we get tickets! Pray we do, because it would be the BEST flat outing of LIFE!
Gtg have a meatless lunch.

Families - how can I ever leave E6?!

Sloot Journal

((Originally taken from MySpace))

So, according to Tidmarsh, we will have a bunch of families throughout our lifetime.

We start with our family at home, then build a family when we go to school. The school family may shift over the years - and then you go to college and gain a whole new family - not to mention all the families you become a part of when you do shows.

Now, studying abroad in London, I have become a part of the E6 family.

God this post is so corny. I feel like I'm Carrie in Sex and the City...

But as I was telling Ruby and Jade today - and Mary and Tagz every night - I have no clue how the hell I'm going to be able to get up and leave it. Sure there's MySpace, Skype, MSN Messenger, and AIM, but that's not the same as getting up at 10 AM, getting ready, going into the kitchen with your computer, and waiting for Jade and Ruby to come home from Sainsburys or waiting for Tagz to eat breakfast before her and Mary run to Greenwich (P.S. For an hour, my ass!). And how am I going to live without watching Ed drag himself into the kitchen at 1 PM in just his boxes and a t-shirt to go eat a moldy banana (just kidding, he made buttery eggs today).

It's going to be one of the hardest things in the world - but for now I have to treasure my time in London. Tuesday we're all going to see AVENUE Q. As much as I love travelling - yeah Barcelona next weekend! - I want to try and spend as much time with my flat as possible. They are some of the best people in the world (and I mean literally), and it's going to be the hardest thing to close this chapter of my life.

P.S. Ed, go cut down a Christmas tree for us - right now. Seriously. Take JoJo and get us a TREE!

I'm a thinker and I think thinks!

Turkey Journal
…er…
Sloot Journal

So, I woke up at 9 this morning and was in the kitchen by 9:30. I started making the “chicken starch” – aka fake chicken broth. I cut up the celery and carrots and put it in the broth. Then, I got ready to stuff my hand down the turkey…
Yeah. So I soon realized I had NO clue what the hell I was supposed to be feeling for….I needed to take out the neck and giblets – yeah DISGUSTING. I was freaking out. Mary tried to help me and she looked up info/pictures on line of what I should be finding in the turkey. When I DID find the neck, OMG, I started screaming. Not only was it disturbing that I was taking the turkey’s neck, it felt scary. 
So after that ordeal, I cleaned the turkey with water, peppered it, and buttered the crevices and the breast. Mary has lots of pictures of all this – don’t worry. I poured in the chicken broth, vegetables, and then Mary added an onion.
I went to put it in the oven and found the first oven – the one I preheated – wasn’t big enough. Yeah. So then I had to put it in the other oven – which is where it is now. It SHOULD be ready around 3:15ish…I hope. It should take 3 hours and 50 min to cook. Hopefully less.
Mary and I sanitized the kitchen from the turkey experience. She’s starting the corn and I’ll probably start the stuffing. We’re cheating and starting to make things now to save time. We’ll re-heat things later – if necessary.
We’re singing Solla Sollew together now. Mary played the Mayor’s Wife in a production of Seussical, so she’s been telling me about it. I think it has some beautiful music (such as Solla Sollew). We’ll be listening to Christmas music later. Mwahahahaha

"I never realized that Henry (Hoover, our vacuum) had such a big schlong!" - Tagz / "Ed never takes a shower!" - Tagz

Sloot Journal

So a lot of things have been going on. I’m so sorry I haven’t updated in over a month. I fail at blogs – but I’m on my third journal!

The weekend after Stonehenge – Halloween weekend – Tricia and I went to Scotland. It was so much fun! We climbed Arthur’s Seat at 7 AM (because we forgot to put our clocks back…), went to the Camera Obscura, the Mary King’s Close tour, the City of the Dead Ghost Tour, and did some crazy pub crawls. Strongbow was the official drink of Halloween there, so I had some and tried McEwan beer – in honor of Professor McEwan. Hahaha

After that, we went on the Straford trip. It was surreal to be stepping in the same houses that Shakespeare lived. We saw a performance by the Royal Shakespeare Company – I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much blood used on stage…

For reading week, we went to Italy. We hit up Venice, Florence, Rome, Naples, and Pompei. Venice was the most beautiful place of life, and we went on the most relaxing gondola ride. There was also a lot of GREAT shopping. Florence was a lot of fun because Lindsey, Tori, Theo, and Tom were studying. We stayed with Lindsey in her LEGIT apartment and ran around the city. I bought a leather coat – aka signed my life away – from the most wonderful place. Thanks to the Hummels for recommending it. Rome was nice – we missed the Pope speak by, like, 15 minutes, but the people weren’t the nicest. We technically only spent a day there before we ran to Naples and Pompei. Naples wasn’t as scary as people say it is, as long as you’re with people. Pompei was stunning – it’s amazing how the mosaics have retained their colors and shapes. It was really sad to see the mummified bodies, though. We spent one last half day in Rome, and the people at Ciampano Airport pissed me off. By the end of the week, I was ready to leave Italy – but I’d definitely return to Venice and Florence. The taxi also came with us and took a lot of pictures. All in all, Italy was beautiful with amazing food and the best gelato in the world.

For those of you who aren’t aware, my dad had received a yellow stuffed NYC Taxi in a NY themed basket he had gotten from work. My mom sent me the taxi and now it has been joining me in my travels across the world.

The Sunday after we got back from Italy, one of Joe Hummel’s good friends (Gill, who is the head of Bruce Springsteen’s security) got us into the Bruce Springsteen concert at Waverly Arena. It was the most entertaining two hours of my life and I will be forever grateful. I owe my life to Gill. LoL. It was just really wonderful to hear music at its finest and to finally see The Boss of NJ himself – Bruce Springsteen. It was an honor.

This week, we saw the Alchemist. It was ok. I’m not too much of a fun of the play. The performance for THEATRE IN LONDON had been cancelled, so we didn’t see a show for that class. We saw Kevin Spacey in MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN. It just so happened that Natalie Portman and Ian McKellan were there on the same night as us – and we had better seats. Cool.

Well, I’m in Tagz’s room. We’re going to watch an episode or two of SEX IN THE CITY. Mary and Tagz has me HOOKED on the show, and we’re going to watch the episode that Francine is in. hahaha. She’s the Russian’s assistant!!!!!1 AHHHHHH!
