ED! You'll get SHOT!

OK. I have ten minutes to post a blog. Let me give a quick version of what's been happening.
Tuesday - I went to Central London with Ed and John. OH LORD. What an experience that was. We took the tube to Bond Street and went to Subway for lunch (Subway...hahaha). I dragged them to the Disney Store and took a picture of Ed kissing Ursula...Then, we bumped into a Monk on the street and talked to him for a while. We window shopped and decided to walk miles to the Palace. I played American tourist and John took a picture of me in front of the Palace gates. I have a picture of Ed trying to climb the fence - in which I told him he'd be shot if he got over.
We missed the tour of the Palace - which doesn't restart until 2007. Bummer. But whatever.
We then took a tube from Victoria to Knightsbridge. We went to Harrods - HOLY CRAP. What a big, beautiful, EXPENSIVE place. We went to the women's designer stuff first, which was fun. Then we went downstairs to look at guys' stuff. There is a shrine to Princess Diana and her boyfriend. There is a white candle lit with a champagne glass they used in the restuarant before the accident - and there is the engagement ring that was purchased for Diana the day before - it was beautiful. I bought a Harrods key chain, John bought sushi, and Ed bought cheese...LoL!
After that, we went back. We went to the comedy night in the Union. In the beginning of the show, Ed yelled something out, so he was singled out throughout the night. Also, Keri Hoppe was singled out a few times. When asked where she was from, she yelled Muhlenberg and we cheered. YEAH! The first guy was SO funny, and the second commedian was the guy who wrote and sings the GAY ESKIMO song. he sang it, and I died.
I woke up this morning and got my Goldsmiths ID card - I look like crap in my picture. I went shopping, and then went to the abroad students meeting. I came back to the flat, researched how I could get internet, and then went to an Indian food place with Katie and Laurie. And now I'm at the Internet cafe with KATIE!
Life has been wonderful. Hope everyone is well! TTYS!
YOU'RE A POLAROID PICTURE!

I have so much to say and so little time - and space.
I'm here - safe - in London. Well, as safe as I can be considering an hour ago our local supermarket (Iceland) was held up by a guy with a gun...literally I walk out of my flat, cross the street, and I'm there - SCAAAAAAAARYYYYYYYY.
I got here Saturday morning at 9:20ish. Trish and I got our bags and got a car to drive us to Goldsmiths. Luke - a 2nd year - helped me move in. I got in around 11:50 AM. I took a shower and ran to get a bus.
The bus ticket machine ate my money. I unofficially snuck on a bus, got off at the wrong stop, and started walking - this was 1:50 PM. I asked a few college aged looking students about where the Victoria stop was and they said it was took far for me to walk. I went back to the bus station, but the bus wouldn't be back until 12 min later, so I ran to take the Tube. I met up with the college students again and got off at the Victoria stop at 2:20PM. That's ok - I'd only be late 20 min to the show - BUT GUESS WHAT?! The show started at 2:30!!!! I saw the show which was amazing. The cast was SO tight, but they weren't very strong singers. That's all right. It was the best production of WICKED I have ever seen and I am IN LOVE with Adam Garcia!
I got off at the wrong stop coming back to school, and had to ask a cop for directions, but that was ok.
After I got back, I met up with my friend Katie and went with a group to get Chinese food. I ate and went to my room. I fell asleep by accent and woke up to my flatemate, Ed, banging on doors and yelling to see if anyone was in the flat. I met him and our flatemate Ruby, and went to Rosalind's flat. I met our other flatmate, John, and we all had a toast. We stayed there until 4:30 AM, and then I unpacked until 5 AM.
I woke up at 10:00 AM the next day and went shopping - at Iceland - with John. I went to Sainsbury's and Curry's with Katie. I went to the welcome talk and tour, and then went shopping with a bunch of the Muhlenberg girls. We came back, and then I went to LEGALLY buy alcohol with my flatmates and our neighbor Ashley (a guy), and then we went to the Student Union after a mini-welcome party at our flat - YES OUR FLAT IS THE UNOFFICIAL PARTY FLAT. LoL. We stayed on the balcony most of the time, and then danced at Club Sandwhich. They were joking and calling me a Polariod Picture last night because I "could shake it" because "I had the moves". Hahaha. I love Ed and John SO much!
This morning I woke up at 11. I went to buy milk for Ed and got a calling card. Then I went shopping with Katie, Gwen, Ally, and Liz. I FINALLY GOT A SIM CARD, so I can call people. I also have an international calling card to call my family.
I DO NOT HAVE THE INTERNET IN MY ROOM SO I DON'T REALLY HAVE INTERNET ACCESS! :(
I'm also supposed to write that "Matt Grimaldi joined the Mile High Club with a stewardess on our plane..."
I love my flatmates so much. I am having such a blast with all of them. There are eight people in all in our flat - six girls, two boys. There is a girl from Kansas (Mary), a girl from Beirut, Jade, Ruby, the other Amy, Ed, John, and me. We really mesh well together, and it's going to be hard leaving them in December. I can already tell.
We all have our own rooms that have new carpets and new paint. We have our own bathroom (with shower). Our kitchen over looks the campus, and my window overlooks the train tracks. I'm in Loring Hall E Flat 6 Room C and absolutely loving it.
Not gonna lie - I was a little homesick at first because I got lost so many times the first day, but I've met such wonderful people. It's ok now.
Everyone else is having a ball. I really miss everyone in Allentown and NJ. Hope everyone is doing well.
That's it. I'll try to post soon.

So, this will be my last entry from the US. My parents and I are leaving in a few min to stop at my Grandmother’s so I can say good bye to her. I have two humongous suitcases packed, and I’m taking a 9:45 PM flight from Newark Airport with Trish and Matt to Heathrow. Hopefully I didn’t forget anything at home!
Talk to you in London!
Let the International Sloot Invasion commence!
It's a small world after all...

Well, perhaps this post mainly pertains to Joisey people – mainly the specific people I bumped into today - but it has relevance to my London travels, I swear!
First of all, today marks ONE WEEK – ONE WEEK until I leave for London ~ and that means I’m starting to complete the list of “Things I Need to Do/Things I Need to Buy/People I Need to See Before I Go to London”. I didn’t really accomplish getting anything I needed for London, but I did get to see a friend or two today, which really made the day worthwhile.Side note: For those of you who don’t know, I did Camp Broadway/the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2000 and 2001. In all, we had about one week to go to New York, learn a routine, attend workshops, and then perform in the parade. During those weeks (one per year), I met three wonderful guys that I hardly see, but I keep in contact with. One is a phenomenal singer who just released a CD in Japan and recently signed with Sony Records, and I am SO proud of him. His name is Joshua Michael (look him up on MySpace RIGHT NOW). The other two were cousins who are amazing singers/dancers and who are incredibly sexy. One attends Wagner – Joey. The other, Tommy, is my favorite NYU boy! I will never forget running around the Waldorf Astoria with them at, I’m not joking, probably 11 PM. My mom was ready to kill me, but that was the best night ever.
If I’m lucky, I’ll see the three of them maybe once a year. Josh worked at Six Flags with another one of my friends – Johnny C – so I met up with Josh at Six Flags last year. Tommy and Joey usually end up going to the city the same day as I do (at least one day during the year), so we’ll call and see each other for about two seconds before someone goes to see a Broadway show. It just always works out that way.I wasn’t able to see Tommy or Joey prior to this week, and I probably won’t be able to see them before I leave, but Tommy left a really sweet IM for me saying that even though we hardly see each other, the fact that I’m going to London makes him miss me more. I love you! You’re the sexiest man on this planet! LoL!
I was extremely fortunate to be able to see Josh today! We went to a tremendously changed Freehold Mall – which, granted, I haven’t been there in a while – and I was a little irked. I would like to share my findings:
1. There’s a MAC store. Once there is a Mac store, it means the mall is going upscale. I thought the upscale mall was Monmouth. Clearly, I’m wrong.
2. The food court trays are clear so you can see the ads in the tables. Yes, the tables have ads in the middle of them. Congratulations America. You are so commercial.
3. A bunch of places in the food court are closed - OMG was TacoBell not there?! Yo quiero taco bell!
4. Once upon a time, there was a hilarious boy known as Matt Ward. One year, for Halloween, Matt picked out a novel costume that he knew no one else would have. Yes, ladies and gentlemen – he was every Christian’s favorite superhero – BIBLEMAN. But he didn’t make the Bibleman costume, he bought the official one from the Christian store at Freehold Mall. But guess what? It’s now CLOSED!
5. And speaking of stores that have closed…BANG BANG is officially no longer with us. There will forever be a hole in my heart now that Bang Bang is gone….
But I really had such a lovely time with Josh. I apologize to him once again for having such a hard time eating. Even though I got my wisdom teeth out on Tuesday, I still can’t really open my mouth. Hahaha. Or have really hot food. Yay for cold drinks at Starbucks.
We also bumped into Spiro, who I love and adore. It was so good to see him – even if I didn’t realize it was him at first. LoL. This also led me to IM Jono tonight. I haven’t spoken to her in at least a year, and it was great IMing her. Hopefully we can do some Christmas shopping this year!
But one thing that Spiro said that really struck me was the fact that so many people still read my away messages. I was so surprised to find out that Spiro still reads mine, because they’re some informative. I guess thank you, to everyone who reads my away messages and this blog spot. Thanks for taking time out of your day to keep up with my crazy life. Hahaha.
I’m really starting to realize that, as we get older and go out into the “real world”, we might not see all of our friends every day, but we are all still connected. All these people that I saw/spoke to today, I maybe see once a year (if that), but it doesn’t matter. We are still close and can still have twenty minute conversations very easily – and I love each and everyone of them for that.
It’s a very small world people…
What is a sloot?

So, I know the burning question that everyone has been wondering is …
WHAT IS A SLOOT?!
Well, let me tell the story of how it all happened…
A long time ago in a suite far far away – in a valley in the state of Pennsylvania known as Lehigh – yes, the Lehigh Valley – there lived seven fabulous girls: Lisa and Jenna, Kate and Michelle, Trisha and Krista, and Amy (who was the RA, so she had a lonely single). These wonderful girls lived in the building known as Benfer in suite 305.
Now these girls had friends - such as Dany Guy - who would use inappropriate words as loving names for their friends – such as the word “Slut”. Hahaha. But no one in Benfer 305 was a “slut” because, let’s face it, they were too pretty. Kate and Lisa had superb boyfriends who didn’t go to the same college, but would come visit, but the other girls were just too pretty for the guys at Muhlenberg (or they were girls – so they weren’t the type some guys were looking for).
Some of the girls in the suite (I’m guessing Tricia and Shell) came up with the term “Sloot”, and then Amy started using it in her book long away messages. Well, the word spread like wild fire. These seven ordinary girls were no longer just suitemates – they were SLOOTS and PROUD OF IT.
So what exactly is a sloot, you may ask. Well, the simple term is any of suitemates or psudeo-suitemates of the 2005-2006 Benfer 305 Suite. But in actuality, a sloot is someone who is extremely pretty – who may or may not have a boyfriend – but who has a bunch of fabulous suitemates.
So the “Sloot Invasion” has taken over America, but don’t worry London…YOU’RE NEXT!
International Sloot Invasion 2006
((PS This is only MY take on what a sloot is. I'd like the other sloots to publish what their definition of a sloot is))
Good bye wisdom teeth!
Sloot Journal
0343 hrs.
Well, folks. You’re in for a treat. This is the first of TWO posts today – but I definitely want to do separate posts for the topics. So, here’s my FIRST topic: Good-bye wisdom teeth!
Yeah, at 9 AM this morning I was sitting in a funny chair with the dentist and nurse next two me. It’s supposedly really hard to find my veins – something I’ve learned over the years when having various blood tests taken, so they actually gave me a needle in my wrist…which was weird.
So I didn’t really feel anything because I was out like a light in two seconds. I remember waking up, seeing my dad holding my pink purse (Hahaha), and then hearing the nurse talk to me. We go up and moved to a room near the exit and I remember thinking “I never knew this room was here!”. The dentist said I did a great job, I walked – shakily – to the car, and that’s all I remember until we were home. I’ve been putting ice packs on my cheeks every…half hour…forty five minutes…hour…something like that.
I’m not really in pain, I’ve just discovered:
A. I can’t really open my mouth
B. It’s REALLY hard to eat sherbet – because you CAN’T open your mouth
C. Really only one side of my mouth hurts at a time…
D. I can’t feel my chin, yet I can feel the rest of my face?
E. I have a tongue? It’s so numb – it’s the weirdest feeling of life. I can’t drink water! – Thanks for the warning Alex!!!!! CHAAAAARLIE!
So here I sit. I don’t really want to clean my room – let’s be real. I mean, I don’t want to clean it in general, but I want to milk the “I just got my wisdom teeth out” card a little more – aka play StarFox on Nintendo DS…Shut up. LoL
So thus ends post number one. Expect post number two…now
Last night in Allentown
Sloot Journal
0116 hrs.
So, tonight was my last night in Allentown - and boy was it hopping.
I got to school yesterday and went to Starbucks with Dany Ryan. We got lost on the way home - but it was all good. We ended up driving through Bethlehem and seeing some of the PA sites. I hung out with people in the suite (yeah Big Gay Benfer - BGB), and then I went to sleep early.
THERE IS STILL NO HOT WATER IN BENFER!!!!!! WHAT?!
This morning, I woke up. Hahaha. I played video games, played "fashion show" with Luca, and watched the beginning of BASEketball with Mikey "Can DAnce" Biren. I went to Teppen (spl?) with Lea - from Civic - then we went to the Farmer's Market (wantsa-na) - and back to Jess Bien's house to feed ROSCO! I then met Michael M for dinner, walked around Target with him, and then came back to the suite. Everyone got ready for our nights out, and then I met some FABULOUS people at Fridays.
Lea, Gordon, Shawn, Noah, Sara(h), and Jen all met us at Fridays. Sara(h) and I were both born in January, so we decided we're having a cake baking party for ourselves. We're also going to try and go out once a month starting January - and they're DEFINITELY going out with me for my 21st! YEAH! After Fridays we went to Jess' to let Rosco out, and I said good bye to Bill (I had said good-bye to Jason during the day). Then, Lea, Gordon, Sara(h), Jen, and I went to crash the MTA dance - but no one was really there. We took a tour of the theatre buildings, and then they left. :( YOU ARE ALL SO AMAZING AND I LOVE YOU!
I came back to the suite - where there was a random gathering of dancers. LoL. I got to say good bye to Elizabeth and Alex (LOVE!), and here I am.
I'm now going to take a cold shower...yay...and then go to bed.
10AM rehearsal tomorrow for Muhlen-WHO?! YAY....argh...
Night!
12 days until the International Sloot Invasion!
